How to Delete a Site Safely
What this means
Delete is permanent. Use it only for sites you no longer want to keep.
Before you start
- Confirm this is the exact site you want to remove.
- Download/copy important content if needed.
- Tell teammates before deleting shared sites.
Quick check
- Deleted site no longer appears in dashboard list.
- You did not accidentally delete the wrong site.
- Billing for that site is cancelled if needed.
Step-by-step
- Open the site and go to Delete.
- Read warning text carefully.
- Enter required confirmation values exactly.
- Click final Delete confirmation.
- Return to dashboard and verify site is removed.
- If subscription existed, verify billing cancellation status as well.
